Scripture: Mark 2:1-12

Devotion: In Mark 2, we read the story of a group of friends who bring a paralyzed man to Jesus. Unable to get through the crowd, they tear through the roof and lower their friend down. Jesus sees their faith and not only heals the man but forgives his sins.

This story is a reminder that we are not meant to journey through life alone. When we feel stuck—physically, emotionally, or spiritually—sometimes we need others to carry us to a place of healing. And when we see others struggling, we are called to do whatever it takes to bring them closer to love and wholeness.

Who are the people who have carried you when you couldn’t walk alone? And who might need you to carry them today? Healing often happens in community, where faith and compassion come together.

Daily Action Steps:

  1. Reach out to someone who has supported you and express your gratitude.
  2. Identify someone in your life who is struggling and find a practical way to help them today.
  3. Pray for those who feel isolated or in need of healing.

Prayer: Healing God, thank you for those who have carried me when I could not walk alone. Help me be a source of strength and love for others. May I always point people to your healing presence. Amen.

Breath Prayer: (Inhale) Carry me, God... (Exhale) and make me whole.
